Hotel Sunny Sölden certainly lives up to its name. The sunny location of our 4-star hotel in Sölden is perfect for everyone who loves spending their holidays outdoors – skiing in winter and hiking, biking and exploring the Ötztal mountains in summer.
And there’s plenty of sunshine indoors too: with genuine Tyrolean hospitality, a warm welcome and a refreshingly easy-going atmosphere.
Back at the Sunny
For Marie Therese, the Sunny is much more than just a hotel – it’s a piece of home. She grew up right here while her parents ran the hotel together. Surrounded by guests, the team and the everyday hustle and bustle of hotel life, she spent a large part of her childhood at the Sunny.
Later, the hotel was leased out for several years. Today, the Sunny is back where its story began for Marie Therese: back in the family - with a family behind her that supports her every step of the way.
Together with her partner Arnold, Marie Therese now runs Hotel Sunny with plenty of personal dedication and a genuine connection to Sölden. For both of them, being a host is all about one thing: making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive – personal, easy-going and with that wonderful feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.

Marie Therese and Arnold are locals and love spending their own time outdoors. Whether they’re skiing, biking or exploring the mountains on foot, they know Sölden and the Ötztal not just as hosts, but from their own everyday lives. That’s why they’re always happy to share their favourite places, tour tips and recommendations with you – including where they would spend their own day off.
Sport has been part of Marie Therese’s life from an early age, and the mountains right outside her door have always been her personal playground. Whether it’s the Bike Republic, a mountain tour or a day on the slopes, if you want to know what’s really worth doing today, you’ll get much more than just a tip from a brochure.
Together with Arnold and the Sunny team, she makes sure your holiday days turn into really great ones.
